It has been almost 20 years since Jeep last offered the Comanche pickup, but now Mopar sells a kit to convert your 4door Wrangler into a 2 door pickup , previewed by the JK-8 Independence. The bed will measure 50 inches in length and 44 inches between the wheel wells.
The kit consists of 18 parts that include a short 50-inch bed floor, half a hardtop, a lower bulkhead, inner and outer rear body panels, several brackets, Replacement roll bars and two bedrail and floor extensions.
DMac provided Mopar with Engineering and Program Management support in collaboration with Motor City Rod Shop to develop the kit that is now sold at your local Chrysler Mopar dealer.
